‘A Sanctuary in the Tuscan Hills’

The intention for the space is to create a space, which like a sanctuary, induces the feeling of safety and security, while simultaneously reflecting a setting amongst nature. This concept will be highlighted through the selection of natural materials with a raw finish and ancient origins juxtaposed with elements associated with sacred spaces such as arches, domes and gold or brass elements—such as those used as crosses. The mood of the space aims to be one that enables a contemplative or meditative state, where isolation is almost encouraged in a nuanced way but also makes room for communion. Furthermore, it will also apply to the nature of services offered within the space which will be holistic and ancient practices aimed at improving the wellbeing of patrons.
