The inspiration for this bookcase comes from the idea of vintage photo plate holders - once an item that was easily found in bookcases decades ago. Its ability to be a pretty small structure which is in a state of balance which allows it hold items two or more times its size and weight served as the inspiration on a whole but specifically in the shape of the structure
